Maintenance Engineer

Perform risk assessment and ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical engineering codes; maintain Cremona equipment; update and improve electrical systems; evaluate system safety, reliability and performance; perform regular and periodic maintenance of Veneer Manufacturing Cremona equipment; schedule yearly maintenance shutdown; order overseas parts for our Veneer Manufacturing Cremona equipment; look for alternatives in our domestic market; advance our Cremona equipment electrical systems; examine the needs of new equipment; calculate cost and help prepare budgets; and monitor maintenance and inspection plans. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field and three years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or closely related occupation. Also requires three years of experience with maintaining and servicing Veneer Manufacturing Cremona equipment; servicing Slicing Equipment; using Cremona software; and electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
